Overcoming Fear In Fighter Pilot Training

Ed Rush has a great blog, network and book that guides young people in the right direction - that being the path to the cockpit of a fighter aircraft. I highly suggest paying attention to Ed Rush, but you must also go by other tips by other seasoned pilots. One of my methods for gaining solid career knowledge is to talk to the old men that hang out at almost any on base officers clubs. Some of these are old fighter pilots. I have learned a hell of a lot about tactical and common sense flying from these old heros. Also, go ahead and join the EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and get involved with the warbird projects and aerobatics. Plenty of fighter pilots at these venues to take you literally under their wings. Ed Rush is a very good and solid start, for he does not hesitate to tell you to not take heed in the words of a crafty recruiter.
